Looking to save even more than the discount we already give? Buying second-hand books from us is a great option if you want the exact same book that you require, but for a lower price tag. Our staff will ensure that the second-hand book that you are purchasing is the exact same version and edition as what is required on your book list.
We sell our second-hand books at 33% cheaper than the RRP.

1. BUY IN STORE

Simply come into store and request for second-hand books when buying over the counter. Availability will vary. ​

2. BUY ONLINE
​
You can also purchase second hand books online. Simply go to our second hand stock availability from the main menu selection. All second hand books are firm sales and cannot be returned. We highly recommend visiting our store so that you can view the condition of the second hand books in person.

Please note: due to the high turnover of second hand books and constant stock variation, there may be a 24 hour delay in seeing the updated stock. Our staff will contact you if there are any issues relating to your second hand item.

3. REQUEST FOR COLLECTION

Drop your booklist in store and we will attempt to fill your booklist with as many second-hand books as possible prior to your selected collection date. New books will be provided where second-hand books are not available.​

4. CHECK OVER THE PHONE
​
Availability of second and books can be checked over the phone. Please note that we do not put books on hold or reserve them in the month of January so it is best to give us a call just before you make your way over.
SELL
Selling your books to us is an easy way to turn your unwanted books into credit that can be used in our store. There are two options that you can choose from:
1. SELL DIRECT TO US
Simply bring in your books into our store in Sunshine for a quote on the books you would like to sell. You will receive a credit note valid for 6 months on the spot and is hassle free!

Due to the complex nature of buying in second-hand books, we will not provide quotes or offers over the phone or internet.
Please keep in mind that we will buy in books that are still current to the Victorian Curriculum and are used in the upcoming school year, however it remains at our discretion to reject books that we may have excess stock of.
2. SELL ON CONSIGNMENT
With this option, we do the selling for you! You will receive 1/3 of the selling price, otherwise, you can collect your book if it is not sold by mid February.
